The music of the Death Stranding video game series comes to the stage with Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony World Tour, featuring music from the 2019 original game and its upcoming sequel, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.

The announcement came from creator and video game designer Hideo Kojima at the Death Stranding presentation at the 2025 South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival. The concert tour will feature an orchestra and singers performing songs by Swedish composer Ludvig Forssell, Icelandic rock band Low Roar, and others, accompanied by synchronized HD video showcasing key moments from the game.

Forssell said in a statement that it’s an honor and a privilege to be part of Death Stranding and bring its music to a live audience.. “[The] music ranges from intimate ballads and synthwave to climactic orchestral anthems. I can’t wait to bring this eclectic musical experience to life with arrangements designed to elevate each piece in a full orchestral setting. I also hope we can take you on a journey alongside Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus) as the story and music evolve from the first installment to its sequel.”

The concert tour, created in collaboration with SOHO Live, producers of the Stardew Valley tours Festival of Seasons (2024) and Symphony of Seasons (2025 – 2026), kicks off on November 8, 2025, the sixth anniversary of the 2019 game’s release, in Sydney. It will span 12 countries across four continents, concluding on March 28, 2026, in Toronto.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will be released for the PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025. Meanwhile, a film adaptation is currently in development under Kojima Productions.
