BTS kick off their highly anticipated comeback with a global livestream performance, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, streaming on Netflix on March 21, 2026, followed by an exclusive documentary, BTS: THE RETURN, premiering on Netflix on March 27, 2026.

A partnership between Netflix and HYBE, the comeback performance, over three years in the making, will take place live from the historic Gwanghwamun in Seoul, South Korea, celebrating the release of the group’s upcoming fifth studio album, ARIRANG. The performance, which includes their hits and brand new tracks, will stream live at 7:00 PM (PH Time), marking the first-ever live broadcast from Korea to be streamed globally.

The massive event follows the announcement of the group’s ‘ARIRANG World Tour,’ which will span 34 regions and 82 shows across Asia, North and Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania.

Additionally, Netflix will offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the group’s return through a feature-length documentary. Directed by Bao Ngyun (The Stringer, The Greatest Night in Pop), the film gives fans all-access insight into the group’s reunion and how their journey has shaped them into global icons.

After completing South Korea’s mandatory military service, the seven members reunite in Los Angeles to do what they love most: making music together. The documentary also highlights the members’ reflections after time apart, exploring their personal growth and renewed creative bond.

“As millions of fans await the comeback of the decade, BTS confronts quieter questions: how to begin again, how to honor the past without being bound by it, and how to move forward together. Through moments of doubt, laughter, and rediscovery, they create new music that reflects who they are now—culminating in what will become a landmark album of its time,” according to a press release.
