From “APT.” to her work with BLACKPINK, ROSÉ has made music that travels well. Now, she’s bringing that creative reach to the world of spirits through her collaboration with Johnnie Walker Black Label.
The partnership officially kicked off in Seoul on October 26, where ROSÉ unveiled her signature Twist of Something Highball at BAR 81 at SIGNIEL SEOUL during a special Johnnie Walker Black Label celebration. The event marked the first stop of a campaign set to reach major cities across Asia before expanding globally. Beyond the cocktail, the collaboration will also explore design and culture through a series of projects shaped by ROSÉ’s creative perspective.
Bringing ROSÉ’s World to Johnnie Walker
Seoul made a fitting first stop for ROSÉ’s latest creative venture. It’s the city where her career with BLACKPINK took shape, and a place where highballs have become a familiar part of the drinking scene. For her Johnnie Walker Black Label collaboration, she put her own spin on the classic serve with the Twist of Something Highball, a tall, sparkling cocktail finished with a curly cucumber ribbon.
“I’m very excited to expand my creative journey with Johnnie Walker and explore new ways to bring different worlds together,” ROSÉ said. “As a brand that has remained iconic across generations, I’m honoured to bring something of my own to its evolving story.”
For Johnnie Walker, the collaboration continues its work with artists whose creative identities extend beyond music. Neil Shah, the brand’s global director, described ROSÉ as part of a generation of artists who are fearlessly creative in their approach, a quality that aligns with the brand’s emphasis on self-expression.
The partnership follows Johnnie Walker’s multi-year collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, which included her signature Go Go Highball and a limited-edition Black Label bottle inspired by her personal style. While each partnership takes a different form, both bring the artists’ individual perspectives into the brand through cocktails and design.
From rosie to New Creative Territory
ROSÉ’s solo work has given her another space to explore her songwriting and artistic identity. Her debut solo album, rosie, released in December 2024, features 12 tracks that draw from personal experiences and reflections on her twenties. Its lead singleLead SingleThe first song released from an upcoming album, chosen to introduce its sound and generate anticipation. A lead single sets the tone for a project, and its performance on chartsGo to Lead Single Glossary, “APT.,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars, became a global hit and earned three nominations at the 2026 Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
That personal approach to songwriting offers another lens through which to view the Johnnie Walker collaboration. With projects spanning cocktails, design, and culture, the partnership gives ROSÉ another avenue to explore her creative perspective.
