Lorenzo Jan is back with a dreamy and atmospheric new single “Ngayong Gabi,” released via KDR Music House.
The song from the rising Laguna-based alt-pop artist captures the magic and beauty of finding someone who shares the same passion and love for music, as well as chasing and fulfilling a dream together.
The release continues Jan’s growing musical journey as he explores his identity and sound in the local music scene.
The synth-pop and dream pop track is inspired by his personal journey in OPMOPMShort for Original Pilipino Music, the body of songs created by Filipino artists, spanning genres from ballads and rock to hip-hop and pop. From being selected as a Top 10 finalist at Jameson Distilled Sounds Philippines Artist Search in 2025 to being signed with a record label and performing live at events such as Wish Stopover Sessions this year, the song leans into the feeling of finding love, comfort, and connection through music and performance.
“Sa pag-indak ika’y kasama, pati na rin ang mga bituin ngayong gabi,” Jan sings and reflects on the theme of the track.
