Joseph The Dreamer is returning to Manila for a limited run for three consecutive weekends from November 6 to 22, 2026, at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza.
Produced by Trumpets Inc., the upcoming musical boasts a seasoned cast of directors, choreographers, and actors. Leading the musical as the titular character are Broadway and West End child actor Jordan Andrews and singer, visual artist, and actor Neo Rivera.
Having performed in the production’s past runs, both actors previously played the role of Judah, while also alternating as Joseph. In their current roles, Andrews and Rivera follow in the footsteps of others who have previously performed as the eponymous dreamer, including Audie Gemora, Gary Valenciano, Franco Laurel, Alvin dela Peña, and Sam Concepcion.
“Beyond the pressure of living up to our predecessors, what I choose to focus on is bringing my own interpretation of Joseph to life.” Rivera shared.
“Playing Joseph means being part of a story that might reach someone exactly when they need it,” Andrews also shared. “If I’ve done my job right, someone else goes home wearing their own coat of hope, integrity, and forgiveness.”
The production follows the biblical story of Joseph as he is sold into slavery by his brothers and taken through a series of adventures. Navigating through his new life, the character goes through an extraordinary journey of hope and trust stemming from his aptitude in interpreting dreams. Alongside Andrews and Rivera are award-winning actor Nonie Buencamino as Jacob, Iya Villanueva and Naya Ambi alternating as the Egyptian princess Asenath, the musical’s principal narrator, Lorenz Martinez, as the Pharaoh, and other talented actors set to give the production new life.
