UNIS Announce Disbandment, Release Final Digital Single “Milky Way”
This follows the expiration of the eight-member girl group’s two-and-a-half-year contract with its agency.

Following the expiration of its two-and-a-half-year contract, UNIS are set to conclude their group activities along with the release of their final digital single, “Milky Way.”
“Milky Way” is a heartfelt single that serves as a farewell gift for the South Korean girl group’s official fandom, EverAfter. The track also notes that this isn’t a definite end of a chapter but opening doors for a new beginning.
F&F Entertainment, the group’s agency, thanked the group’s fandom EverAfter for their support since the group’s formation in SBS’ reality show Universe Ticket and their debut in March 2024.
“We would like to inform you that UNIS’s exclusive management contract with our company will come to an end on September 26, 2026. The company and the members have continuously discussed the contract period and the direction of their future activities. After sufficient discussion, we have ultimately decided to conclude UNIS’s official activities as a full group in accordance with the originally scheduled contract period,” F&F shares in an official statement.
F&F Entertainment adds that they will continue to support the members in their solo endeavors, saying, “Although their official activities together as UNIS will come to an end, our company will sincerely support the members as they stand at new starting points, continue pursuing their dreams in their respective places, and grow further.”
“We ask that you continue to give your unwavering love and warm support to the members as they embark on new challenges moving forward,” they conclude their statement.
The eight-member girl group debuted in 2024 and is composed of members Filipino-Korean leader Hyeonju, Filipino members Elisia and Gehlee, Nana, Kotoko, Yunha, Yoona, and Seowon.
They released two Korean mini-albums, We Unis and Swicy, and the Japanese mini-album UNI☆Sparkle!
