Rising neo-soul/R&B artist Nicole Adeya releases her newest single “God in Jeans” through Underdog Music.
As a follow-up to her previous R&B/neo-soul track “Antimater,” “God in Jeans” is an anthem that serves as an act of pure surrender and being in total control.
“[The track] sits in the intoxicating space between modern intimacy and primal desire. Subverting the trope of the “idealized woman,” the track paints its subject as both sacred and complex: someone driven by rawness and meant to be revered from a distance,” says the press release.
Composed by Adeya herself, the track also includes contributions from producers and engineers Yñigo Ferráz of Ysanygo, Mark “Zedjie” Nafarrete, pxyche, and Keio Guzman.
The release will be accompanied by a music video, which drops on September 11, 2026, and features Adeya herself and fellow singer-songwriter and actor Gabriel Lazaro.
Releasing her debut single “Chinese Restaurant” in 2024, Adeya is slowly carving her niche in the local music scene. She earned a nomination for Best World Music Recording at the 38th Awit Awards for the song.
“God in Jeans” is the first taste of Adeya’s upcoming project that is yet to be announced.
