HORI7ON Announce Departure From MLD Entertainment And ABS-CBN

HORI7ON have officially parted ways with their agency, MLD Entertainment, bringing an end to the group’s management relationship with the company after three years.
The seven members — Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus — confirmed their departure in an announcement issued through their legal counsel, Korean law firm Atorni Law, on September 4, 2026. According to the statement, the members have formally terminated their exclusive management agreements and intend to continue pursuing their careers in the Philippines.
Addressing their fans, known as Anchors, the members shared a message acknowledging the support they have received throughout their journey while expressing regret over the circumstances surrounding the announcement. They reassured fans that the end of their management relationship does not mean the end of HORI7ON, adding that they plan to share more about their next steps when they are able to do so.
“We held on longer than we should have, because we did not want to disappoint you. This chapter is closing, but we are not going anywhere,” the members said. “Thank you for being part of this journey and sailing along the tides with us. We would love to see you again beyond the horizon.”
The group’s legal counsel further stated that their exclusive management agreements, dated March 10, 2023, were terminated effective August 13, 2026. The contracts named MLD Entertainment Co., Ltd. and ABS-CBN Corporation jointly as the group’s “Management Agency,” with the termination notice formally served to both companies.
The decision followed a series of notices between the members and MLD Entertainment. On July 13, 2026, the members said they sent the agency a formal notice detailing what they described as serious violations of their agreements. They reportedly gave MLD the required 14-day period to address the concerns, but according to their legal counsel, the period elapsed without a response.
Following the expiration of the notice period, the members proceeded with the termination of their agreements, saying that the subsequent termination notice likewise went unanswered.
Formed through the Filipino reality survival program Dream Maker, HORI7ON made their official South Korean debut as a seven-member act on July 24, 2023 with their debut album, Friend-SHIP. The group went on to train and promote across both the Philippines and South Korea, making history as an all-Filipino act in the K-pop scene. In June 2026, they were named as part of Billboard Philippines‘ P-pop Class of 2026 and performed at the inaugural P-POP UNITE: The Convention on June 24, 2026 alongside fellow P-pop acts.
