Dominic Fike is back with his new single, “Wallflower,” released through Columbia Records.
The track serves as the lead single from his forthcoming third album, How To Quit Smoking, slated for release on October 9, 2026.
For the album, Fike stated that the songs and visuals were created in real time, with a unique approach to songwriting and recording while he was on the road for his ‘Comedy Tragedy Parody Tour.’
The rapper, singer-songwriter, and actor found inspiration in the communities he encountered and incorporated those experiences into the songs. “Wallflower” breathes the same stripped-back energy of the overall project.
The upcoming record follows the release of his 12-track debut mixtape, Rocket, which was released in 2025. Notably, the project is a meaningful venture for him, as he named it after his son.

The single also follows the success of his song “Babydoll,” which rose to popularity years after its original release in 2018. It peaked at No. 34 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart.
In the cover story for the Billboard Philippines July 2026 digital issue, Fike reflected on the track’s resurgence, saying, “It’s really cool. At first I was making an album in upstate New York when it happened, and it was just me and like five dudes… we were in a cabin in hoodies being like, ‘Oh shit,’ drinking coffee. The initial shock of it was very chill… and then I got to live out the reality of it happening, which was cool.”
