The song comes as a wedding vow to his wife, which he performed during the surprise bridal march at their wedding. More than just a release, it serves as a statement that transcends music, becoming an integral piece of his life and an offering of love.

Inspired by songs like Johnoy Danao’s “Ikaw at Ako,” Ebe Dancel’s “Cuida,” and TJ Monterde’s “Palagi,” the track is about longing for a love that is reassuring and lasting.
“I want my listeners to feel like they are in a warm, tight embrace whenever they hear the song. I also hope my listeners learn through the song that love and relationships are never perfect,” Cabangon says. “We are all people, and we all go through our own stumbles and challenges. But we try to choose each other even when things are difficult. Because I think we also become better individuals when we find love that is assuring and earnest.”
The stripped-down arrangement presents itself as a recognition of the flaws and uncertainties that arise in relationships, but what matters is learning to choose each other and finding hope and strength in love. Cabangon teamed up with producer David Lina, and they embraced the “less is more” approach on the track and were inspired by the musicality of Joseph Solomon.
