More than a year since he released his single “Ikigai” featuring Loonie, Dionela is back with new music with the ballad “Monday Afternoon,” through UMG Philippines.
“Monday Afternoon” is a deeply personal track that opens a new chapter in the “Marilag” hitmaker’s journey. The ballad offers an introspective on his life now as an artist and a husband.
Compared to his previous releases, the song holds a special place in Dionela’s heart, as it was originally written and performed as his marriage vow for his wife, Meizy Mendoza. The song was performed during their intimate garden wedding ceremony that was held in March.
