Fresh off the release of his sophomore album, Do That Again, Malcolm Todd has returned with his new single, “I Just Got Mad,” released via Columbia Records.

Before its official release, the track was notably a fan-favorite unreleased song at the time and was also uploaded to the platform SoundCloud. It had the track had already generated anticipation among fans, with live snippets and unofficial uploads circulating online.

Accompanying the release of the song, Todd also dropped a self-directed “unofficial music video” or visualizer, which he filmed and edited himself.

Todd’s sophomore album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, becoming his first Top 10 album and highest-charting debut to date. Do That Again explores themes of young adulthood, heartbreak, reconnection, and male vulnerability. The album includes the previously released singles “Breathe” and “I Saw Your Face.”

He continues to build on his momentum as he prepares to perform at major music festivals, including Osheaga and Outside Lands. He will then embark on his headlining Do That Again North America Tour, which kicks off in September.
