OPM singer-songwriter Janine Berdin drops her latest single, “PROMISE..!!!,” as the lead track from the upcoming deluxe edition of her debut studio album.
Arriving as LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA continues to gain traction across streaming platforms, the single officially came out on July 9, 2026, alongside a special launch event featuring ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, SUYEN, Eggboy, and syd hartha. It marks the beginning of the album’s deluxe era, which expands on the stories that first resonated with listeners and will feature four additional tracks.
Marking its first offering, “PROMISE..!!!” explores the emotional desperation of trying to save a relationship that is slipping away. Drawn from Berdin’s own experiences, the emotionally charged track captures the vulnerability of making promises that may never be enough.
In a social media post, Berdin shared the inspiration for the song, “I wrote this about the time I kept begging on messenger na naka all caps tapos seenzone lang. Cringe.”
