RAYA have released their newest single, “Ligaya,” inspiring joy and empowerment through a dance-pop sound.
Released on July 10, 2026, the track arrives as a follow-up to their infectious 2026 single, “Get Me,” showcasing a softer and more melodic side to the eight-member girl group. With its upbeat production, the newly launched single highlights RAYA’s vocal versatility and builds further onto their bubblegum-pop leaning earlier works.
“Ligaya” explores themes of self-empowerment and inner peace, addressing the struggle that comes with the overwhelming and unrelenting pace of life. With lyrics such as “At the end of the day, you’ll be okay,” RAYA encourage listeners to harness happiness as a tool to overcome the challenges they face.
Initially teased on June 25, 2026, RAYA updated their profile picture with a sparkling, sapphire yellow logo, followed by a rollout of teasers including the single cover art and a look at the song’s empowering lyrics: “Pangarap tagumpay / Sa ‘king mga kamay / Put up your head high” and “Pag ika’y may ligaya / Bawat hakbang ay biyaya / Kinakailangang maging malaya / At payapa o ligaya.“
Beyond the new release, the eight-member act was among the exciting lineup of Billboard Philippines‘ inaugural P-POP UNITE: The Convention, performing a medley of their hits, “Get Me,” “Bling!,” and “Diva Diba,” last June 24, 2026.
RAYA — composed of Abel, Anna, Ash, Aviona, Jemima, Kash, Priscilla, and Rona — debuted in April 2025 under Viva Records. Dubbed as the “Gems of P-pop,” their name is derived from the Filipino word “hiraya” meaning imagination or vision and serves as the heart of their artistry.
