beabadoobee is entering a bold new era with the release of her brand new single, “Sun Has Set,” which serves as the first preview off her upcoming album, Pylon.

Leading the project, “Sun Has Set” is a guitar-driven track that channels frustration and emotional release. Accompanied by a new music video, the song introduces a heavier, more aggressive sound that signals a fresh direction for the “Glue Song” hitmaker.

Check it out below:

Pylon marks beabadoobee’s fourth studio album, following the success of her 2024 album This Is How Tomorrow Moves. According to an official press release, Pylon draws inspiration from grunge, Midwest emo and ’90s alternative rock while exploring themes of connection, isolation, and the emotional highs and lows that came with life on the road. The album’s title references the towering power line structures often seen along highways, serving as a metaphor for both movement and emotional tension.

The upcoming 14-track record also features an impressive (and star-studded) lineup of collaborators, including Hayley Williams of Paramore, Brendan Yates of Turnstile, Chino Moreno of Deftones, Evan Stephens Hall of Pinegrove, and Shane Moran of Title Fight. Additionally, longtime collaborators Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975 also contributed to the project.

In other beabadoobee news, she recently collaborated with The Mariás for a special track, titled “All I Did Was Dream of You” earlier this March. She also performed two sold-out shows in Manila last August 2025, which featured a special guest performance with the APO Hiking Society’s Jim Paredes.
