K-pop girl group ITZY stand by their own Motto in their newest album, released on May 18, 2026.
Featuring eight new tracks, the five-member act returns with their 12th mini album, highlighting both their group sound and each member’s individual color through solo songs.
Leading the release, the title track “Motto” is a vibrant pop anthem accompanied by a visually striking music video. Filled with artistic animations, detailed paper cut-out sets, and imaginative visuals, the video sees the members performing in a light-colored castle, while delivering their signature sharp choreography and magnetic charisma.
Motto continues ITZY’s streak of bold concepts and empowering messages, featuring group tracks “Motto,” “Glitch,” and “you And I,” alongside solo songs from each member that showcase their distinct styles.
“Pocket” by Yeji is fierce and loud, carrying the same powerful energy heard in her previous solo release, “Air.” Meanwhile, “Asylum” by Lia leans more emotional, spotlighting her soft vocals in a comforting track fit for the group’s main vocalist.
Delivering a sassy, bass-heavy sound, Ryujin’s “LOOK” is layered with glitchy and experimental production, complete with a vogue-inspired hook that perfectly matches her cool aesthetic. On the other hand, “Undefined” by Chaeryeong embraces a playful energy, blending rhythmic beats and brass instruments reminiscent of second-generation K-pop songs. Closing the solo lineup is “Tangerine” by Yuna, a dreamy, city pop track filled with bright synths that pair effortlessly with her airy and refreshing vocals.
Following the album release, ITZY are set to meet Filipino MIDZYs at their upcoming TUNNEL VISION tour, happening on July 11, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Tickets are available via SM Tickets outlets nationwide and online at smtickets.com.
