Filipino rock band The Itchyworms are heading back to Taiwan for their three-city tour, ‘Akin Ka Na Lang TAIWAN Part 2,’ this April.

The band first staged a show in the country back in 2024, with co-lead vocalist and founding member, Jugs Jugueta, noting that rocking out to a diverse audience, beyond the typical crowd they perform for in the Philippines, reinforced that “Music is a universal language.”

Additionally, the band has always been vocal about making deep connections with Filipinos overseas, aiming to create a vibrant space where nostalgia, joy, and Filipino pop culture meet.

“We constantly try to get to know the Filipinos in Taiwan,” Jugueta says in an official statement. “Filipinos are really so friendly, so we will just talk about life in Taiwan and the struggles of not seeing your family very often. We will bring them back to the Philippines through our music!”

“It feels great that not only are we sharing The Itchyworms’ music, but we are also sharing OPM and Filipino music with the world,” Jugueta adds.

The Itchyworms are heading to Taiwan on these dates:

  • Kaohsiung, LIVE WAREHOUSE — April 3 (Friday)
  • Taichung, Legacy Taichung — April 4 (Saturday)
  • Taipei, Legacy Taipei — April 5 (Sunday)

Tickets are available here.

In January, the band canceled their ‘Akin Ka Na Lang’ shows in the Middle East (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), which were supposed to take place on January 17 and 18, 2026, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.
