Indie-alternative rock band SOS‘ sophomore album, It Was A Moment, is coming to vinyl.
Announced by the band on Instagram with the caption, “it was a record, see you guys soon :),” the vinyl version of the album will be released on April 17, 2026, along with a small and intimate live event in Quezon City, with only limited tickets available. As of this writing, no official venue and details have been announced.
This will be the first of two shows the band will perform at in April. They will take the stage at All Of The Noise 2026 on April 18 at 123 Block, Mandaluyong City, alongside fellow OPM acts fitterkarma, ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, ALYSON, VVINK, and BP Valenzuela, among others.
Released on March 28, 2025, It Was A Moment is the follow-up to their acclaimed debut record, Whatever That Was, and took eight years to create.
The album appeared on Billboard Philippines‘ 25 Best Filipino Albums And EPs Of 2025 listicle, notably for showcasing the band’s evolution and featuring songs that are sonically and stylistically different from one another while still providing top-notch production and impeccable songwriting.

Fans have also clamored for Whatever That Was to be released on vinyl, especially as it celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2027. “Next year is the 10th year anniv ng Whatever that was. *coughs* baka naman may pa-vinyl release din *coughs*,” one user commented.
