This 2026, Billboard Philippines honors Regine Velasquez-Alcasid as Woman of the Year, recognizing a trailblazer, an icon, and a queen that continues to exemplify the grace, excellence, and power of a woman in music. Asia’s Songbird will be presented the night’s biggest award live at Billboard Philippines Women In Music 2026 on March 24, celebrated alongside fellow honorees BINI, Lolita Carbon, Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, and G22.

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid will be the third-ever artist to receive the award, following the Nation’s Girl Group BINI in 2025 and the Philippines’ Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo in 2024. Velasquez-Alcasid joins a long lineup of incredible women who have received the honor of Woman of the Year at the Billboard Women In Music at the US, including the likes of Madonna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and more.
