Ahead of the release of BTS’ highly anticipated new album, ARIRANG, the K-pop powerhouse is teaming up with Spotify for the ‘Decoding ARIRANG’ mission, an in-app collaboration designed for ARMYs.
The collaboration comes in the form of an Easter egg hunt feature that lets fans discover surprises from the members Jin, SUGA, j-hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. These include never-before-released audio messages as well as personal reflections on the album’s lead single, “SWIM.”
Over the coming days, the members will hide unique fragments on the Spotify app, with each fragment serving as a virtual key to unlock the members’ secret voice messages.
Here’s how it works:
- Log in to your Spotify Premium account to enjoy the full experience. Make sure you’ve updated your Spotify app to the latest version.
- Search for the members’ fragments. Each member has unique hiding spots within their spaces — scroll deep and interact with everything on the screen. Every tap could reveal the next fragment.
- Tap to collect each fragment and unlock the secret voice messages.
- Hit the “Share” button to show off your progress in Decoding ARIRANG on social media.
- You can revisit your fragment collection anytime by opening the search bar in the Spotify app and looking up “BTS Decoding ARIRANG.”
- The ultimate ARIRANG Easter egg comes from finding all seven members’ fragments.

ARIRANG releases on March 20, 2026. Their highly anticipated comeback will also feature a global livestream performance, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, streaming on Netflix on March 21, followed by an exclusive documentary, BTS: THE RETURN, premiering on the platform a week later, on March 27.
