Kicking off the month of March with a bang, SB19 have officially announced the release of a brand new album, titled Wakas At Simula.
The Kings of P-pop shared the news on their official social media platforms, announcing its forthcoming release date of March 27, 2026 at 12 PM (PHST). the group also teased the reveal by posting a cryptic (and equally cosmic) video teaser which unveiled a QR code that leads to the album’s pre-save links for various digital and streaming platforms.
“We are guided by the universe, our story written in the heavens, and when the six heavenly bodies align in the sky, we are to witness the end and a new beginning,” read their caption; which coincided with news of the planetary parade that saw six planets aligned last Saturday evening (February 28, 2026). To coincide with the astrologoical phenomenon, SB19 had also staged a surprise busking in Bonifacio Global City’s 5th Avenue where they surprised fans with their appearance before dropping the announcement.
Though not much details have been revealed with regard to the album’s upcoming release, SB19 recently dropped their latest single “VISA” — an experimental, sociopolitical pop track that lends a voice to the plight of millions of Filipinos worldwide. The track was released earlier this February 20, 2026, earning over two million streams just over a week past its release.
“This release is very powerful and a strong way to start the year and introduce this new era,” shared SB19’s Stell regarding the new single, while Pablo echoed this with their personal experiences, stating: “We were very affected by visa applications during our tour. SB19 has been active for seven years, and we hope that songs like these can reach officials and encourage laws that make it easier for athletes, artists, and others working overseas to access visas.”
Most recently, tickets to the group’s forthcoming concert finale, aptly titled Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale, were opened for General Onsale over the weekend, drawing over 120,000 active users in the queue. The forthcoming concert is set to take place at the SMDC Festival Grounds this upcoming April 18, 2026, and follows their sold-out set of shows at the Philippine Arena for their Simula At Wakas World Tour. With the global fan packages and VIP passes all sold out, limited tickets are still available via SM Tickets here.
