Filipino hitmakers take center stage as the Hiraya Night Sky Festival unfolds at Clark Global City in Pampanga on January 17 and 18, 2026, with live OPM performances anchoring a two-day event that also features aviation displays, motorsports, and large-scale visuals. Organizers said the festival is designed to appeal to a wide range of audiences, not just one demographic.

“At the same time, we’re trying to aim for all of you, all of the generations,” project manager Marvin Atienza said during a press conference on January 12 at Tablo Kitchen x Café in Quezon City. “Not only the Gen Z, the millennials. We’re really aiming for all of them to enjoy our event.”

Two Nights Of Performances

The opening night lineup features Cuatro Band, Amiel Sol, Earl Agustin, Sunkissed Lola, Juan Karlos, and Flow G. As sunset approaches, the program shifts to a hot air balloon light display, followed by a drone light show and a fireworks presentation that turns the Pampanga sky into part of the spectacle.

Sunday performances continue with Carl Timboll, Kim Leo, Raya, Bandang Lapis, Rob Deniel, and Dionela, before a closing set from IV of Spades. The second night ends with a larger balloon night glow, another drone and fireworks show, and an official after-party led by DJ Lovezy.

From Balloons To A Full Festival

Atienza traced the concept of Hiraya to the organizers’ background in staging various events and music festivals, with hot air balloons at the center of their earlier work.

“So, actually, before having Hiraya, we’ve been with different events, with different music festivals,” he said. “We came up since we are originally the organizer of the hot air balloons. So, our team created this type of event.”

He said the idea evolved from simply participating in festivals to building one from the ground up. “Why not, instead of me providing the balloons, the hot air balloons, why not do it on our own?” Atienza said.

Full-Day Festival Flow

Unlike conventional music festivals that begin in the evening, Hiraya runs as a full-day event. Festival grounds open at 6:00 a.m., allowing guests to explore aviation exhibitions, motorsport features, experiential zones, and food concessions. Entry to the music festival grounds begins at 3:00 p.m., with live performances scheduled from 5:00 p.m. on both days.

Aviation And Motosports

Aviation activities remain a major component of the program, with around 20 to 30 hot air balloons scheduled for a simultaneous morning inflation at 6:00 a.m., alongside aerial displays by paramotor pilots. Evening balloon presentations return for the night glow. Organizers said all aviation operations will follow strict safety protocols and will be conducted in designated open areas away from dense crowds.

Motorsports also play a prominent role through drift exhibitions and curated car shows across the venue. The drift segment features Audel Sison, Arianne Sison, and Ashley Sison.

“So, at the same time, since we have a lot of friends in this field or industry, like for example, the drifters, the power motors, I think that’s the difference with Hiraya Music Festival with the other music festivals,” Atienza said.

Showcasing Filipino Talent

Atienza stressed that Hiraya is intended to go beyond a music-only format by highlighting Filipino skill across multiple disciplines.

“So, it’s not only a showcase of Filipino talents for music,” he said. “It’s a showcase of Filipino talents on a different field and on a different scale.”

He added that the festival also aims to reinforce Pampanga’s identity. “At the same time, we want to make it known that Pampanga is really the center of the hot air balloon,” Atienza said. “At the same time, center of other skilled artists, like the drifters, the power motors, and different artists.”

Named after the Filipino word “hiraya,” meaning vision or dream, the festival positions Clark Global City as a venue for large-scale creative and technical showcases. Ticket prices start at P500. Further details will be released through the official Hiraya Music Fest and Hot Air Balloon channels in the coming days.
