PLAYERTWO are holding a special show this week.
On January 5, 2025 (Monday), the Filipino hip-hop group announced that they will be performing at TakeOver Lounge in Katipunan, Quezon City this January 9, 2025 (Friday). The upcoming show will serve two purposes. The first of these will be to launch the music video for “P2000” – the fourth track from the group’s sophomore album HAPPY ACCIDENTS VOL. 2. Second, it will also be a fundraiser to aid PLAYERTWO for their trip to Thailand this month, where they will be representing the Philippines at Bangkok Music City 2026 alongside five other Filipino acts.
Entrance to the launch and fundraiser show will be on a pay-what-you-can basis. Learn more about it here.
PLAYERTWO will be performing at Bangkok Music City 2026 at the end of this month, with the event set to be held from January 24 to 25, 2026 (Saturday to Sunday) at the Charoenkrung Creative District in Bangkok. The group will notably be representing the Philippines alongside Pedicab, ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, bird., august wahh, and Delinquent Society and will be sharing the stage with various artists from Thailand, the rest of Asia, and beyond.
In other news, PLAYERTWO released HAPPY ACCIDENTS VOL. 2 last November 14, 2025, followed by its deluxe edition on November 26, 2025. The latter features two additional new tracks — “In The Morning” and “Take It To The Roof” — in collaboration with funk-pop band Lola Amour. Notably, the record was chosen by Billboard Philippines as part of our ’25 Best Filipino Albums And EPs Of 2025′ list, describing the album as “a self-assured display of the alternative hip-hop collective at their cheekiest and most effortless selves.”
