After years of anticipation from fans, P-pop group G22 have officially announced the release of their long-awaited debut album.

Despite no title being revealed to the public as of yet, details of the forthcoming record’s release were announced via the group’s social media accounts, wherein they shared the album’s release date of November 22, 2025 (Saturday), and its intro release on November 15. Together with newly revealed concept photos of member AJ, other promotional imagery was also released, paying homage to Greek-inspired aesthetics with the recurring tagline “I am both the wound and the hand that sews it shut.”

While further details regarding its tracklist have not been posted, the upcoming album is set to mark their latest musical release following their string of singles over the past year, which include “Filipina Queen” and the viral hit track, “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban” — performing the latter live on Billboard Philippines‘ Studios series for this year’s P-Pop Rise campaign.

In the group’s interview for their cover story for Billboard Philippines‘ June 2025 issue, the group’s members teased what fans could expect from their first album. According to Alfea, this record is “very different, and it’s wide.” “We’ll explore a lot of different genres [on here], because it allows us to widen our palette for the people. We want them to see that G22 can do different genres, and it also shows our individuality. “So, I feel like from our songs, they will learn more things that no one really knows about us,” she continued.
