G22 have made their first comeback of the year with a brand-new single, entitled “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban” — an anthemic track that explores themes of self-empowerment and camaraderie among women, showcasing their fiery fighting spirit. The single’s release also notably coincides with the celebration of International Women’s Month.

The rising P-pop trio initially teased the release of the track on February 25, 2025 (Tuesday), posting a revamped version of their logo with the caption, “Kayo ay maghanda” (“Get ready”). On February 26, 2025 (Wednesday), they officially confirmed the release of the new track, with it having come out last March 7, 2025 (Friday).

On March 9, 2025 (Sunday), G22 premiered the accompanying music video for the new single. Watch it below:

“Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban” serves as the follow-up to a string of four singles G22 released in 2024. Namely, this includes “One Sided Love,” released last April 19, 2024; “I Hate Boys,” released last May 10, 2024; “Limitless,” released last August 1, 2024; and “It Lies Within,” released last November 10, 2024.

G22 are one of the acts chosen by Billboard Philippines as part of our ’10 Filipino Artists To Look Out For This 2025′ list, where we recognized them as “one of modern P-pop’s clear-cut rising stars of today,” known for “their stage presence that effortlessly commands attention and inclination for self-empowering lyrical themes.”
