Wilson of New:ID is going on hiatus for the foreseeable future.

On November 4, 2025 (Tuesday), entertainment agency MLD Entertainment announced that the New:ID member is set to go on an indefinite break from the activities of the P-pop boy group. In the statement, the company stated that the reason for this was so Wilson could focus on his health and get the necessary rest and care he needs at the moment.

With this, MLD Entertainment also clarified that New:ID will continue with their activities, schedules, promotions while operating as a 4-member unit for now with members Macky, L, Thad, and Jom. No exact details on Wilson’s eventual return was given but the agency has asked fans for their understanding and continued support for Wilson and the other members of the group.

During this period, New:ID will continue activities, schedules, and promotions as a 4-member group until further notice. We kindly ask for your understanding and continued support for both Wilson and the members.

Prior to this announcement, New:ID had been actively performing and doing various promotions in the past year. While the group has not released any new music this year so far, their debut EP New Ego came out last year on July 25, 2024.
