Fragments are back with a brand new single, entitled “Glassthrone.”
Released on November 20, 2025 (Thursday), the latest song from the Filipino modern metalcore band is explores themes of “demanding change, calling out injustice, and refusing to stay silent,” while rejecting the idea of being passively resilient in the face of calamity and corruption.
“I wanted to write something that confronts the weight of being told to just endure,” states vocalist Niko Cezar in a press statement. “This song is for the voices that go unheard, the anger we bury, the guilt we carry, and the moments when survival isn’t enough.”
The Filipino modern metalcore band announced the news on October 29, 2025 (Wednesday), revealing that the song is set to come out sometime this November. Watch this space for updates.
“Glassthrone” is Fragments’ second release of the year, following their previous single “END/OR,” which came out last August 8, 2025. Notably, both singles are their first releases following the addition of Keiran Tumpalan on the drums. They are now composed of Tumpalan, Niko Cezar on vocals, Felix Manzanas on bass, and Ryan Mitchell on guitars.
