iTunes has announced an exclusive digital-only version of Taylor Swift‘s The Life of a Showgirl, which will be released with an exclusive cover and a behind-the-scenes video titled A Look Behind the Curtain — all dropping on October 3.

Fans can purchase the album featuring the 12 tracks on iTunes with the exclusive cover and be able to watch the video, clocking in at two minutes and 41 seconds, featuring “Taylor herself detailing inspirations behind the album,” according to the description from iTunes.

The official iTunes account shared the announcement on X, over six years since they last posted anything.

Since the announcement of the pop star’s twelfth studio album and its standard edition cover, different cover variants on both CD and vinyl have been unveiled.

These include three standard and Target-exclusive CD variants of the It’s Beautiful, It’s Rapturous and It’s Frightening Editions, two vinyl variants of The Tiny Bubble in Champagne Collection, The Baby That’s Show Business Collection, and The Shiny Bug Collection.

During an episode of the New Heights podcast, Swift shared that she worked on the album while she was in Europe on the Eras Tour. During her downtime on tour, she would fly to Sweden to work on the record with producers Max Martin and Shellback.

“This album is about what was going on behind-the-scenes in my inner life during this tour which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant,” she shares. “It comes from the most infectiously, joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in my life. So that effervescence has come through on this record.”

The record, which is now the most pre-saved album in Spotify history, is something she wanted to make for a very long time.
