Doja Cat, J Balvin, and Tems have been announced as the headliners for the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup Final Halftime Show, set to take place on Monday, July 14 (PH Time), at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States.
Curated by Coldplay‘s Chris Martin, the show is being held in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. With a goal of raising USD 100 million, the initiative aims to support children’s education and soccer programs around the world.
In a statement, Balvin shared his excitement, saying, “From Medellín to MetLife. I’m honored to headline the first-ever halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup Final. It’s a historic moment — for me, for Latin culture, and for every kid who dreams big.”
Tems also expressed how the event brings the world together through football and music, with a shared goal of improving children’s lives through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will kick off on June 15 (PH Time), with the final two teams of the tournament facing off at the Final on July 14.
The FIFA Club World Cup, first held in 2000, is an international men’s football competition organized by FIFA that features top club teams from around the world. After a break from 2001 to 2004 due to financial issues, it returned in 2005 as an annual event. Beginning in 2025, it will be held every four years.
Unlike the Club World Cup, the FIFA World Cup is contested by national teams representing their countries. The 2026 World Cup, set to take place in July across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, will also feature a Super Bowl-style halftime show for its Final.
