Today (May 23, 2025), eaJ (also known as Jae Park) has debuted his latest single entitled “merry go round.” Blending bedroom pop intimacy, moody synth-driven production, and indie rock angst, the song captures the endless cycles of toxic love. Along with the song’s release, the Korean-American singer-songwriter premiered a music video showcasing vintage visuals to match the retro synth beats of the track.

This marks the artist’s second single release for the year, as he previously debuted the powerful anthem, “ruin my life,” last April 18, 2025. Earlier this year, as well, he joined as a collaborator on BINI’s recent BINIverse EP, on the track, “Secrets.” On this EP, he was one of the international collaborators alongside AGNEZ MO, and later on, Belinda.
In the September 2024 digital cover story of Billboard Philippines, eaJ opened up about his turbulent journey from leaving K-pop to embark on his solo ventures: “I’m doing this myself, so it makes me proud of my wins, and I’m learning. I’m learning more and more.”
