Bad Bunny takes on another side quest, appearing in the trailer for Darren Aronofsky‘s new crime comedy Caught Stealing, and stars Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz.
The trailer, set to The Clash‘s 1982 punk rock hit “Should I Stay or Should I Go?“, offers a glimpse of the Puerto Rican rapper-singer as a gangster, waving a gun at Butler’s character.
Based on Charlie Huston’s 2013 novel of the same name, the film follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a washed-up former baseball player who gets caught in the crosshairs of a violent criminal conspiracy in 1990s New York City and must navigate the gritty underworld to survive.
Rounding out the cast alongside Butler and Kravitz are Regina King (Watchmen), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), and Griffin Dunne (After Hours).
Caught Stealing marks Aronofsky’s return to the director’s chair following his critically acclaimed 2022 drama The Whale for A24, which earned Brendan Fraser the Oscar for Best Actor at the 95th Academy Awards in 2023.
Meanwhile, starting June 15, the Grammy Award-winning artist will embark on his first-ever concert residency, No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí, at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The residency supports his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
