These two artists of completely different genres are combining their sound for their new joint single, “Lederhosen.” Today (March 20), Leanne Mamonong of Leanne & Naara, or alternatively known as barb. for her solo project, has collaborated with Ivo Impreso of the Davao-hailing hip-hop collective PLAYERTWO for this exciting project.
The song itself is a feel-good laid-back hip-hop track perfect for those looking to cool down with chill beats in the hot summer weather. On her official Instagram account, barb. revealed that the song was originally written as a message to her mother, and was officially released as a birthday tribute to her mother today.
Mamonong made her debut as a solo artist in September of last year with the single “hardest part,” produced by Roberto Seña (a.k.a. his solo moniker Lazy McGuire) of SOS. On the other hand, “Lederhosen” marks Ivo Impreso’s first solo activity as an artist since his collaborative track with Macky Buena in 2020, entitled “Spoil U.”
