Last March 1, the Cagayan de Oro City-hailing dream pop band, KRNA, came out with a music video for their single, “I’m Wrong.” Directed by Sachi Valdes, the visualizer is just as fantasy-like and lucid as the song itself, but takes on a more melancholic tone with themes of isolation and stark, vibrant color grading.

As written by the band in the video’s caption, “This song captures the quiet devastation of self-doubt, longing, and emotional dissonance — wrapped in hazy guitars, ethereal vocals, and a pulsing dream pop soundscape.”

Since debuting in 2018 with the EP The River Gold, KRNA has been transforming the shoegaze scene of Visayas one emotionally-packed anthem at a time. The group released their latest single, “I’m Wrong,” last March 8, which followed their October 2023 single “Dream Again.” The band is also set to represent the Philippines at the Music Bridge Tokyo event later in April of this year.
