Unique Salonga has just earned his first-ever Billboard Philippines chart entry.

The renowned indie singer-songwriter has made an impressive debut on the Philippines Hot 100 chart (dated March 1, 2025) with “Sino,” which stands as one of the most popular tracks from his debut album Grandma, released back in 2018. Given the track’s timeless appeal with listeners all across the nation, it’s no surprise that “Sino” has continued to resonate with audiences — especially on social media platforms like TikTok, where the track has found new life as part of various video and storytelling trends on the platform.

Aside from Unique Salonga’s “Sino,” other new entries include JISOO’s “earthquake,” NIKI’s “Autumn” and “The Apartment We Won’t Share,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Busy Woman,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble,” December Avenue’s “Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig,” 88rising and NIKI’s “La La Lost You,” and Amiel Sol’s “Ikaw Lang Patutunguhan.”

At the Top 10 of this week’s Billboard Philippines Hot 100, Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther” still holds the No. 1 spot, while Dionela’s “Marilag” and TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s “Palagi” still ranking at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions of the chart. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” positions itself at No. 4, with Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali” moving up to the No. 5 spot.

Moreover, Yung Kai’s viral hit “Blue” ranks at No. 6 on the chart, while BINI’s comeback single “Blink Twice” makes its debut at the No. 7 spot. Billie Eilish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” comes in at No. 8, closely followed by Dionela and Jay R’s “sining” at No. 9. Closing off the Top 10, is SZA’s “BMF,” which ranks at No. 10 this week.
