Zack Tabudlo has just signed with a new record label — the United States-based Mercury Records.
The beloved OPM musician shared the surprise announcement on his official social media platforms, stating his excitement about embarking on new ventures for his career. “It’s funny how quickly life can turn around. From being a normal kid in the Philippines writing songs in my tiny room after school, to now being signed by one of the biggest record labels in America,” he reflected. “Your boy is now officially signed with Mercury Records US!”

it’s honestly such a surreal experience to be a part of an incredible roster alongside all my heroes. (yes, i am crying as i write this post bro im in the same roster as POST MALONE AND ZAYN MALIK LIKE BRO WHAT)
i’d like to truly thank Mercury US, UMG, my core team, my family, and above all, I want to thank all of you. thank you for all of the years of support, love, and of course for listening, crying, dancing, and shouting your hearts out with the music and stories i’ve created. you all are the reason why i started my journey with music, and i truly couldn’t have done it without all of you.

Following his announcement, Tabudlo also teased the release of new music on the way very soon, mentioning how “it’s been half a year of no music” asking his fans to “wait til you see tomorrow.”
It’s been more than six months since the 23-year-old musician’s last musical release, following his string of singles released in 2024 — including “Isa, Dalawa, Tatlo,” “Feel This Way,” “Papalayo,” and “Pulso.” His third studio album, 3rd Time’s A Charm, was released in November 2023 and spawned the hit singles “Pano” and “Gusto” featuring Al James. Also in 2024, Tabudlo’s debut album Episode was finally reissued in the vinyl format for its fourth anniversary, being released on a new set of limited edition colorways such as purple and white vinyl.
Mercury Records has served under the banner of Universal Music Group since its inception back in 1945 and has released music from various genres, such as rock, funk, R&B, doo-wop, soul music, blues, pop, rock and roll, and jazz records. In the United States, it is operated through Republic Records and houses the work of several notable artists, including Zayn Malik, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Noah Kahan, Dayglow, Bo Burnham, Lord Huron, Stephen Sanchez, and fellow Filipino artist Lyn Lapid.
