Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” Makes A Magical Debut on the Philippines Hot 100

Lady Gaga has cast an effective spell on Philippine audiences with the release of “Abracadabra.”
The newly released single has made its immediate debut on this week’s Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart (dated February 15, 2025) at the No. 78 position — showcasing its rapidly growing influence on listeners all over the country. With various dance challenges (and even an iconic drag performance from Precious Paula Nicole and Popstar Bench) being posted to social media platforms such as TikTok, X, and Instagram reels, the dance-pop single has won over millions of listeners across the country, even finding itself added to playlists that capture the most viral songs across the Philippine archipelago.
“Abracadabra” marks Gaga’s second entry on this week’s Philippines Hot 100 chart, following the lasting success of her collaboration single “Die With A Smile,” which features Filipino-Hawaiian singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. Their hit single currently stands at the No. 3 position of the chart (following multiple weeks at the No. 1 spot), wherein Dionela occupies the majority of the Philippines Hot 100’s Top 10, with three entries for “Marilag” (at No. 1), “Sining” featuring Jay R (at No. 7), and “Oksihina” at No. 10.
Elsewhere on the Top 10, Kendrick Lamar and SZA stand strong with “luther” at No. 2, while TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s eternal love song “Palagi” positions itself at No. 4. Yung Kai’s viral hit “Blue” ranks at the No. 5 spot, followed closely by SZA’s “BMF” at No. 6, and Billie Eilish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at No. 8. Making its debut within the Top 10 though is Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali,” which comes in at the No. 9 position.
