BTSV, also known as Kim Taehyung, is making waves once again with the announcement of a brand new project.

Titled Rêve, the upcoming project is scheduled to be released later this February 3, 2025 and is already the subject of widespread speculation from ARMY (BTS fans) all across the online realm. The formal announcement was shared yesterday (January 12) via BTS’ official X (formerly Twitter) account –– which unveiled a teaser poster for Rêve, alongside a poetic French tagline that translates into: “That feeling of freedom I felt in Paris, the instant beauty, a dreamy scene from the look of V.”

The announcement was also paired with a visually stunning preview of French architecture, hinting at a possible French-themed project that is steeped in elegance and artistry. Given the subtle clues from the teaser poster, numerous fans and ARMY members are speculating that Rêve, which translates to “dream” in French, could be anything from a photobook, to a new music release, or even a film endeavor –– given V’s passion for the art of photography, music, and acting.

Pre-orders for the forthcoming project are scheduled to open this January 14, 2025 (Wednesday) at 11 AM (KST)/10 AM (PHST), with its official release dated following close to a month later on February 3, 2025. Though details still remain scarce, V’s reputation for delivering projects rich in artistic depth has ARMYs eagerly anticipating what is to come.

Just last 2023, V had released his first solo debut album Layover –– which spawned the hit singles “Love Me Again” and “Slow Dancing.” In 2024, he released the single “FRI(END)S“, and was featured on UMI‘s “wherever u r”, also releasing two Christmas-inspired collaborations including “Winter Ahead” with PARK HYO SHIN and his rendition of “White Christmas” with the late Bing Crosby. Yet later this 2025, V is expected to complete his mandatory military service this June 2025 –– having enlisted last December 2023 alongside BTS’ leader RM.
