INFINITE‘s L — also known by his real name, Kim Myung-Soo — has signed with a record label in the Philippines.

Kim Myung-Soo debuted as a member of K-pop boy group INFINITE back in June 9, 2010. Alongside releasing a number of albums, EPs, and singles with the group and its sub-unit INFINITE F, Kim has also established a career as a solo artist. Ahead of his military enlistment in 2021. he released his debut solo single “Between memory and memory” last February 2021. Last August 5, He came out with his first EP entitled 24/7.

In addition, Kim is also recognized for being a long-time actor since 2011, notably having starred in television dramas such as Ms. Hammurabi (2018), Angel’s Last Mission: Love (2019), Welcome (2020), Numbers (2023), and, most recently, Dare To Love Me (2024).

Last November 9, it was announced that the singer-actor would now be officially represented by Universal Records Philippines and talent management company GLXY in the Philippines for his releases and other endeavors in the country. “The galaxy just got brighter, and we cannot wait for exciting things to come!” stated the announcement. The two companies first hinted at his signing last November 7 through a short teaser video.

Following the announcement, the INFINITE superstar will be in the Philippines this November 11 (Monday) to 14 (Thursday) for the contract signings, photoshoots, and other activities. Universal Records Philippines will be livestreaming his formal contract signing with the record label and GLXY on November 12 (Tuesday) at 2:00 PM (PHT) via their official Facebook page.
