TJ Monterde’s “Palagi” Rises To No. 2 On The Billboard Philippines Hot 100
A brand-new rendition of the track with fellow OPM mainstay and Monterde’s wife KZ Tandingan was recently released on the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary.

This week, TJ Monterde‘s “Palagi” has claimed the No. 2 spot on Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart.

This week, it also holds the No. 2 spot on Billboard Philippines’ Top Philippine Songs chart.
Exploring themes of promises, dedication, and navigating love throughout the highs and lows, “Palagi” has consistently captured the hearts of listeners since its release in 2023. Just last month, Monterde came out with a brand-new rendition of the track alongside fellow OPMOPMShort for Original Pilipino Music, the body of songs created by Filipino artists, spanning genres from ballads and rock to hip-hop and pop. OPM expresses Filipino identity and heritage, andGo to OPM Glossary mainstay and his other half, KZ Tandingan. It was released on August 28 — the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary.
Alongside “Palagi,” Monterde’s classic hit “Dating Tayo” also occupies a spot on the Hot 100, taking the No. 62 spot on the chart.
As for the rest of the Hot 100’s top 10 this week, Sabrina Carpenter continues to occupy the most spots with “Please Please Please,” “Taste,” and “Espresso.” at No. 6, 7, and 8, respectively.
Dionela and Jay R’s viral “sining” maintains its hold of the No. 1 spot for the seventh week in a row, while Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ own hit collaboration “Die With A Smile” moves to the No. 3 spot, followed by Billie Eilish‘s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at No. 4. In addition, “Dilaw” by Maki‘s occupies the No. 5 spot, while BINI’s “Salamin, Salamin” at No. 9 and Chappell Roan‘s “Good Luck Babe” at No. 10 round off the rest of the Hot 100’s top 10.
