Ashtine Olviga wins the People’s Choice Award at the third Billboard Philippines Women in Music event, held on March 24, 2026, at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center.

In an interview with Billboard Philippines, The Nation’s Mutya and rising singer-actress talked about being recognized and sharing this milestone alongside Listeners’ Choice Awardee KAIA, saying, “Grabe na-ooverwhelm ako ngayon, and I’m so happy kasi una kong nakita na nanalo yung KAIA, and I’m so happy for them. Tapos noong nanalo ako, hindi ako makapaniwala talaga. Sobrang unexpected.”

(I’m really overwhelmed right now, and I’m so happy because I first saw that KAIA won, and I’m so happy for them. Then, when I won, I really couldn’t believe it. It was so unexpected.)

“With KAIA, sabay ko silang [mag-dream]. Nagsimula kami from zero. Alam mo meron lang kaming passion and dedication namin sa craft namin. We were able to make it, kaya maraming maraming salamat po.

(With KAIA, I dreamed with them. We started from zero. You know, we just have passion and dedication to our craft. We were able to make it, so thank you very much.)

Olviga then concluded the interview with a heartfelt appreciation for her supporters, saying, “Para sa mga supporters ko po na bumoto, Shines and Keepers, maraming maraming salamat po. I feel so loved. Ako yung tipo na tao na feeling ko ako yung laging least favorite ganun. Pero dahil sa pagmamahal niyo, hindi ko nararamdaman iyon.”

(To my supporters who voted, Shines and Keepers, thank you very much. I feel so loved. I’m the type of person who always feels like I’m the least favorite. But because of your love, I don’t feel that way.)
