In honor of his sophomore album’s third anniversary, Zild has finally released Medisina on vinyl.
The newly released record came as a surprise to many of his fans and listeners, given that no major announcement was shared by Zild or Island Records Philippines regarding the vinyl release. The vinyl record is pressed on a limited edition run on translucent green marble vinyl, and is housed in a gatefold jacket, foil-stamped and numbered to only 350 copies nationwide. Both the artwork and additional vinyl booklet feature artwork and photography by Shaira Luna, adding to the collectible nature of the special vinyl pressing.

The vinyl release of Medisina is exclusively distributed by local record store Backspacer Records, and is priced at Php 3,350 per copy. It also comes just a month before the record’s third anniversary, as it was released back on October 18, 2022 — sparking a massive movement within the local music scene, establishing Zild’s very own devout and passionate fanbase of ‘Panikids.’
Backspacer Records originally produced the CD edition of Medisina last 2023, priced at Php 850, but it is now sold out and out of print. Additionally, the store also partnered up with Island Records Philippines once more to release the beloved alternative-indie artist’s third record, Superpower, on limited edition CD and vinyl formats.
Just recently, Zild has reunited once more with his fellow IV OF SPADES members as they gear up for the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, titled Andalucia. The record is scheduled to release this November 10, 2025, and is set to include the band’s newly released singles, “Aura,” “Nanaman,” and “Konsensya” –– the latter of which was penned by Zild himself.
