XG Team Up With Riot Games For Valorant Collaboration Single ‘UNDEFEATED’

Global girl group XG are teaming with Riot Games and Valorant for a collaboration single set to release this April.

Entitled “UNDEFEATED”, the new track, alongside its own music video to be released via the VCT Pacific Youtube channel, was made for the currently on-going VALORANT Champions Tour Pacific 2024 tournament and is slated to come out this April 12 . This follows the announcement of their upcoming single “WOKE UP”, to be released this coming May 21.

In a press statement, it was stated that fans of both the girl group and the tournament can “look forward to a song that carries an inspiring message of ‘fearlessly seizing victory at all times,'” and is described to contain “a heavy bassline, minimalistic drum composition, and dreamy synthesizers.”

JAKOPS, the executive producer of XG, shared, “I believe that the effort of artists on stage and the determination and effort of players striving for victory in matches are one and the same. Like XG and myself, I hope that the unwavering determination to move forward, even when the road ahead is not smooth, resonates with everyone.” On the other hand, Jake Sin, the head of VALORANT Esports APAC at Riot Games, expressed his excitement on collaborating with XG for the major tournament, stating, “We are grateful to work with XG to bring such a special track to life and hope our fans in the region and beyond will enjoy it as much as we do.”

VCT Pacific is one of four international leagues in the VALORANT Esports tournament circuit alongside VCT Americas, VCT EMEA and VCT CN. Stage 1 of the tournament, which will see teams in the region do battle for a chance to become one of its representatives at Masters Shanghai – the second global Valorant event of 2024 – is currently happening from April 6 to May 12 in Seoul.

Last March 18, the same day as their second anniversary, the girl group announced that they would be heading on their first world tour “The first HOWL” this 2024. The tour will include a Manila stop this August
