UNIS are officially coming back to the Philippines later this year. The news was announced by SBTown on June 20, 2025 (Friday), revealing that the rising K-pop girl group will be bringing their 2025 Fancon Asia tour to Manila next, following dates in Seoul, Tokyo, and Osaka.
Co-presented by F&F Entertainment and SBTown, The Manila stop of the tour is set to happen on August 9, 2025 (Saturday) at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Ticket prices have yet to be revealed but will be available via TicketNet. In addition, other details such perks and official merchandise selling have also yet to be announced. UNIS’ upcoming show in Manila will serve as the follow-up to their previous fan concert in the Philippines, which they held in Manila and in Cebu last October 25 and 26, 2024 respectively.
In an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines published last May 21, 2025, UNIS’ leader Hyeonju teased early on the possibility of the group coming back to the Philippines, stating, “I think we will be able to meet the Philippines through our Asia tour. I have so many good memories every time I visit the Philippines!”
“It’s an absolute must for us to bring SWICY to our kababayan (fellow countrymen)!” added fellow member Gehlee, noting how their comeback with the mini-album SWICY was a “super fun, sweet concept” that they absolutely wanted to share “with everyone back home.”
In other news, Gehlee and fellow Philippine-born member Elisia were featured in the June 2025 issue of Billboard Philippines’ print edition. In the exclusive interview, the two Filipino members provided brand-new insight into their journey with UNIS, the challenges they have faced, and what it means for them to represent the Philippines on the global stage. The issue is now available at PHP 250 each via SariSari Shopping, with shipping available internationally.
Meanwhile, UNIS released a special new single on June 7, 2025, entitled “See you in my dream” — a song dedicated to their fans, the EverAfters, that expresses the group’s thanks and and promise to be with them forever. The single serves as the follow-up to the aforementioned SWICY, which came out on April 15, 2025.
