UDD are back with a new song.
Following the highly anticipated release of “Run Deep”, indie-electronic music veterans UDD are back with “Nanaman”, released today, June 7. In a press statement, the new single is described as the band – composed of Paul Yap, Ean Mayor, Carlos Tañada – “sonically shifting gears”, seeing them take on a brighter, more “pop-infused melodicism” as compared to their synth-pop-leaning reinvention with “Run Deep”.
“Nananaman” serves as the band’s second single as a trio, following their debut on Viva Records with “Run Deep”. The Francis Lorenzo-produced track sees the band joined by Trisha Lorenzo sharing vocals with Yap as well as Aman Aman Thaddeus Dela Cruz providing percussion.
Meanwhile, in the aforementioned press statement, it was revealed that the band is set to release two more songs this year. following the release of “Nanaman”. All of this will serve as build-up to a forthcoming album the trio are working on.
