Steve Badiola of Typecast is back with a brand new solo song, entitled “All We Know.”
Released on February 20, 2026 (Friday), the new single from the Typecast frontman is his first solo release of the year. It notably follows a solo acoustic rendition of Typecast’s hit song “Will You Ever Learn,” which came out on nearly a year ago on February 21, 2025.
Much like many of the songs in Badiola’s solo project, “All We Know” is characterized for its light, acoustic guitar-driven, and electronic-backed sound — a contrast from the grittier direction of Typecast that is rooted in emo, post-hardcore, and alternative rock. Aside from the acoustic version of “Will You Ever Learn,” the new single is Badiola’s first original release since “Windmills,” which came out on December 6, 2024.
Steve Badiola released his first solo single, entitled “Home,” on April 30, 2020. Prior to this, he had teamed up with Join The Club’s Biboy Renia and Soapdish’s Jeff Bolivar on a collaboration track, entitled “Maraming Makikinig,” which was released on June 14, 2019.
In other news, Typecast are currently on their joint 25th anniversary world tour with fellow Filipino rock icons Urbandub. After a stop in Singapore on February 19, 2026, the tour is set to continue in London, Ireland, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth.
