MISAMO — the TWICE sub-unit composed of members Mina, Sana, and Momo — have just announced a new musical release with their debut full-length album, titled PLAY.
The upcoming record was first revealed on their official Japanese social media platforms, alongside its scheduled release date of February 4, 2026, across all major digital and streaming services. In the cinematic video teaser also posted to their accounts, Mina’s voice welcomes listeners: “Welcome to the stage.” The visuals then shift to show the three members all seated together in a grand theater dressed in elegant gowns, watching another version of themselves, dressed in suits, confidently step into the spotlight. The message closes with a powerful line: “Perhaps your seat was never meant to be in the audience … now it’s time to take the stage.”
PLAY will mark the latest record for MISAMO, and is set to be their first full-length Japanese album. It follows their 2024 mini-album HAUTE COUTURE, which leaned into a classic and polished aesthetic, and the mini-album Masterpiece, their debut as a unit released back in July 2023. Since debuting as their own unit, MISAMO have built strong momentum within their fanbase of ONCE worldwide, having capped off their MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 “HAUTE COUTURE” in January 2025, which attracted over 250,000 fans in attendance across all shows.
In other TWICE-related news, South Korea’s Nation’s Girl Group recently performed a sold-out show at the Philippine Arena for their THIS IS FOR World Tour earlier this October 2025, celebrating their tenth anniversary on the scene and the release of their fourth Korean studio album of the same name. Additionally, the group also released their sixth Japanese album, ENEMY, and their fifth Korean record, TEN: The Story Goes On, as a special release.
