TWICE‘s Chaeyoung has just dropped the first glimpse off her forthcoming debut album, LIL FANTASY vol. 1, with the release of a surprise music video for its first single, “Avocado” featuring Gliiico.
The newly released visualizer was shared on JYP Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, while Chaeyoung herself dropped several promotional materials across her various personal social media accounts. “I’m so happy to kick off my first solo album LIL FANTASY vol.1 with Avocado,” shared the K-pop star on her Instagram, alongside a slideshow of photos from the music video’s set. “Thank you and love to my friends who helped make my dream come true. This is just the beginning…let’s go!” she continued.
“Avocado” itself features a smooth, yet equally dreamy R&B soundscape that’s unlike anything we’ve heard from Chaeyoung or her fellow TWICE members. Complemented by the video’s quirky and immersive set of visuals, Chaeyoung’s vocals entrance you right into the psychedelic world that she’s conjured up with this project –– paying homage to what acts like Magdalena Bay and Thai alternative pop band KIKI have accomplished with their recent set of releases.

Chaeyoung’s debut solo album, LIL FANTASY vol. 1, is scheduled to be released across digital, physical, and streaming platforms later this September 12, 2025. The album is set to include a total of nine brand new tracks, though it is yet to be confirmed whether “Avocado” will officially be a part of the tracklist.
In other TWICE-related news, the beloved K-pop group has celebrated their tenth anniversary in the music scene with several hit releases — including their original song “Takedown” for Netflix’s hit animated film Kpop Demon Hunters, their latest Japanese studio album ENEMY, and their fourth studio album THIS IS FOR. The latter spawned the chart-topping single, “THIS IS FOR,” which peaked at No. 20 on the Philippines Hot 100 chart.
Both Chaeyoung and her fellow TWICE members are also set to perform in the Philippines this October 4 at the Philippine Arena for their THIS IS FOR World Tour, with tickets close to being sold out.
