Toneejay is back with his first release of the year. On May 9, 2025 (Friday), the “711” hitmaker came out with a brand-new single, entitled “Hele” (Lullaby). Exploring the theme of finding happiness from a special person entering your life, the emotional track’s release was first announced on May 4.
Alongside being the singer-songwriter’s first release of 2025, “Hele” is also notably Toneejay’s first output in over a year, following his album Aurora, which came out on May 3, 2024. It carries the aforementioned, chart-breaking “711,” as well as other fan-favorite tracks like “Parang Magic,” “Inner Child,” “Aurora,” and more.
In other news, Toneejay was part of the 10th anniversary of Wanderland Music & Arts Festival, which happened on March 22 and 23, 2025 at the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Muntinlupa City. He shared the stage with fellow Filipino artists like Sinosikat?, Mayonnaise, ALYSON, and more, as well as international acts Daniel Caesar, Dayglow, Chet Faker, and more. Notably, he teased “Hele” during the festival, performing it as part of his set.
Meanwhile, Toneejay is set to perform at Minsan Studio’s ‘Minsan Fest’ this May 17, 2025. He is slated to share the stage with the likes of Ebe Dancel, Clara Benin, The Itchyworms, Reese Lansangan, and more. Learn more about the show here.
