Chart-topping hitmaker TJ Monterde and Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan are set to stage a back-to-back joint concert on February 6 and 7, 2026, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Fresh off the heels of Monterde’s unprecedented, blockbuster Sarili Nating Mundo World Tour, the upcoming back-to-back concert will feature two of OPM’s powerhouses, with director John Prats once again at the helm.
“It’ll be an interesting concert,” Tandingan shared during the Sarili Nating Mundo World Tour Grand Finale press conference. “We only became part of the same lineup because we became husband and wife. But before that, you would never find us in the same music festival, in the same event, or even in the same playlist, because we’re two very different people.”
“That makes this concert really interesting, yung paano magshi-shine ‘yung dalawa, and kung ano ‘yung magic na mangyayari when the two worlds combine (how the two of us will shine, and what kind of magic will happen when our two worlds combine).”
The ‘Sarili Nating Mundo World Tour’ began as a three-night sold-out spectacle at the Araneta and has grown into a record-breaking run of six two-day legs across major cities in the world, with 22 out of 40 sold-out shows. The tour also became a special place for unforgettable milestones, as heartfelt marriage proposals and even a surprise gender reveal unfolded during the duo’s performance of their phenomenal hit “Palagi.”
Speaking to Billboard Philippines during the conference, Monterde shared that what made the tour such a success was the way he and the entire team were able to keep the shows as raw and authentic as possible, as well as the grace of God and His blessings. “It’s not just about the songs; it’s also a night full of stories,” he said.
“We’re all hoping for it to be a big tour. Kasi ‘yun naman ‘yung goal ng lahat ng artists, eh (since that’s really every artist’s goal). But for it to actually be this big, parang wala sa’min ang nag-expect (none of us really expected it),” Tandingan adds. “But we’re just really grateful that we get to experience that.”
According to Prats, people have shared in their posts online that some even flew to Singapore or Abu Dhabi just to watch the shows four or five times, because of the healing it has brought. He finds it fulfilling to know that they have experienced a show that isn’t just about singing or the visuals, but something that truly touches people, and nakaka-bless ‘yun (that’s such a blessing). And I’m just so grateful to be part of it.”
