The Script are returning to Manila to stage their Man in the Arena Tour on March 18, 2027, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Presented by Wilbros Live and Midas Promotions, the name of the tour is taken from the Irish pop-rock band’s single, “Man in the Arena,” which leads their eighth studio album, The User’s Guide To Being Human, releasing on August 14, 2026.

“Man in the Arena” draws heavily from “Citizenship in a Republic,” a 1910 speech by American President Theodore Roosevelt. “He talks about how honours don’t belong to the critics. They don’t belong to the people sitting on the couch, laughing at the person in the ring stumbling and falling around,” shares frontman Danny O’Donoghue.

“The honours belong to the one who gets in there and whose face is marred with dust and blood. I remember reading it and being like: That needs to be in a tune, the energy in it is beautiful,” he adds.

As of this writing, ticket prices and details have yet to be announced. Tickets go on sale on May 29 at 9:30 AM via SM Tickets and physical ticket outlets nationwide.
